We have many brilliant developers who love to share their knowledge, but there are also many cases when developing expertise isn't necessary. We like to bring out everyone's passion and help them spread their knowledge of it to those around them. It can be anything.
There is such a large variety of experience in technology. Everyone has something different to bring to the table. Everyone is better than the next person at something. We like to recognize that and let the person shine by sharing their experience with those around them.
To foster this kind of environment, we have a program called ImprovingU.
ImprovingU provides everyone the opportunity to learn something new from an expert in the area. The expert will also learn the best way to coach others on the topic. Not only is it a lesson for those in the class, but also a lesson for the teacher. Everyone benefits!
These courses aren’t just limited to technology. We’ve had everything from tips on building your network to wine tastings. Even maple syrup tapping at our Minneapolis office!
We like having people who are continuously learning and improving themselves.
