Modernizing Retirement Home Management
Overview
The Customer faced a significant challenge when their essential internal operations tool, which was built on outdated technologies, neared its end of life. Improving was tasked with developing a modern replacement designed to enhance business processes like rate management and healthcare information tracking.
The Challenge
The legacy system was integral to the Customer's operations, handling tasks from move-ins and move-outs to rate management and healthcare tracking. The technology's obsolescence threatened to push the company back to inefficient manual processes, risking data loss and operational inefficiencies.
The Solution
Improving undertook a complete overhaul of the legacy system, creating a modern application to meet the Customer's needs while ensuring an intuitive user experience. This involved close collaboration with the client's operational and finance teams to ensure the new system balanced their requirements effectively.

Frontend: AngularJS
Backend: .NET (Note: .NET Core was not available at the project's inception, but the latest technologies were utilized to ensure a robust solution.)
