Role:

Sr. Business Analyst

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Partner closely with product owners to identify, define, and document critical business requirements
  • Facilitate & proactively lead working sessions with business and technical stakeholders to ensure awareness, understanding, and alignment on tradeoffs 
  • Write high quality, actionable user stories that effectively translate business requirements into functional/technical requirements for engineering
  • Monitor progress against product roadmap; identify, track, and report on any issues to ensure that open/unresolved issues are resolved quickly
  • Participate in determining project scope, release planning and work estimations in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Support the development of user-acceptance criteria; participate in UAT process to ensure that requirements meet specification
  • Develop supporting UI/UX designs or other collateral as needed to expand on requirements (wireframes, functional prototypes, mock-ups, etc.)

 

Qualifications: 

  • 8+ years of total experience, including 5+ years of experience in a BA role in Agile/lean environment and 3+ years of experience in project management
  • Experience with the early phases of a start-up company 
  • Experience with greenfield product development 
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Great oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in an evolving environment 
  • Undergraduate degree or higher
  • Expertise in any of the following: digital marketing products, marketing automation, and/or platform products (CRM, data & insights, etc.)
  • Attention to Detail: You are detail-oriented and take pride in delivering clear, well documented plans for delivering innovative technology products
  • Hands-on: You are willing to DO the work
  • Adaptability: Things change. You can adapt and reconfigure on the fly if necessary.
  • Versatility: You appreciate variety and are willing to take on things that may be “out of the box” for you
  • Self-Starter: You can come up with a plan and advance against an objective with limited guidance
  • Positive Attitude and Sense of Humor: You have a “can do” attitude and enjoy what you do.
