Meet Michael Perry, one of our Principal Consultants. He’s the tech lead on a project, so he gives technical guidance to his team and does developing as well. Michael meets frequently with the client to ensure their needs are met.

He also has the honor of being a Microsoft MVP since 2011. Michael has received the MVP Award for six consecutive years for his work with Client App Development and Windows Development.

His favorite thing about being an Improver is the people.

“I’m surrounded by people who are really passionate about what they do and are not just here to work 9-5 and clock out at the end of the day,” Michael shares. “Improvers go home and do things that get them excited and they come back in to show what they’ve been working on. Like with Harold Pulcher, he’s gotten me into 3D printing... People care the extra amount."

He’s found that the work ethic is also different among Improvers.

“There’s a reason that we’re called Improving,” Michael says. “We aren’t ever just satisfied with the way things are. We always have to improve things and improve ourselves. I’ve found that a lot of other places are just comfortable to let things happen the way they’ve been happening. An Improver is going to dig a bit deeper and he’s going to figure out what is the core problem you’re trying to solve. Maybe there’s a better way to solve it. We apply that not just to the projects that we do, but also to ourselves, individually.”
