Client Solutions/Implementation Manager
Improving has partnered with a SaaS Retail Analytics company with a great office culture in the Southlake/Westlake area who is looking to add an Client Solutions/Implementation Manager to their team. This hire will play a key role on the client/on-boarding side of their business and must possess the ability to manage large projects, work with large data files and bridge between the client and the data that fuels their application.
This person will own the Client IT relationship. This Client facing role is responsible for collecting and organizing the data necessary to drive the application and Client use cases. This role must manage multiple simultaneous projects and is ultimately responsible for a successful, well architected, well validated solution delivery that Clients can trust and rely upon. Inconsistent retail data is the norm; thus, Implementation Managers must excel in problem solving and be willing to become intimately familiar with Client data and systems. Candidates must excel in client conversations from IT departments to C-Level audiences and have a solid understanding of how to deliver projects with great complexity and varying methods to get to an end result.
Become an expert user of the application
Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the data dictionary including an understanding of the relationship each data point has with metrics and opportunity list results that are presented in the user interface
Ownership of all technical data workshops and client data meetings, resulting in understanding of client data assets and general retail data assets
Ownership of the initial validation of new client implementations, all auditing requirements, including being the key voting member on implementation sign-offs
Ownership of the set of validation rules that are applied during initial implementations and to live Clients. Understand how failures in each validation rule impact the UI results and provide solutions on client configuration, based upon their validation results.
Triage LIVE client data issues. Review the validation results and client data files to attempt to identify the source of the issue and the responsible party. Open and prioritize any issues, ensuring appropriate expected action dates are set.
During implementation, deliver to Client a set of deliverables (e.g. Data Scorecard, Data Environment Map and Data Enrichment and Prioritization)
Owner of all client weekly status meeting, with ability to project manage updates, delays, and drive all open items for the project against the project plan
Responsible for data enrichment deep dives and suggested structure, including detecting potential data issues to threaten delivery and success of the application
Author Client solution designs that can be translated for ETL development
Drive automation of data sources including data collection via APIs
Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
